I've used the 10" version of this 80T DeWalt Series 60 blade...their top line. I thought it was excellent - DW7649, on sale for $55, it'll ring up for only $49.50 with free shipping after an automatic 10% promo discount. Nice deal IMHO on a quality British blade.

I've been pleased with the Ridgid 12" 60T. It is an excellent value at $40 on-line currently. I got it to abuse and it did very well on a bunch of nasty pressure-treated fir. It lost it's edge somewhere into a big pile of Ipe - no surprise. It's no Forrest Chopmaster, but still...
On the other hand, the Ridgid 100T at $75 could well give the 80T Chopmaster at $100 a run for the money.
hey thanks people. I mistakenly deleted my original post. But you get the jist. Just need a secondary blade for my chopsaw, and would like to keep the cost down but still get something that will do a fair job.
Check out e-bay I have had good luck with blades that were last years models, "warehouse" over stocks ect. There seems to be a lot of Dewalt 40 and 60 series blades as well as B&D pharana blades for very nice prices. Anyway if you are pataint its a good way to get a half way decent blade
