In one of the recent videos posted about the different work holding methods Mike Pekovich has I noticed he has a Record vise in one of his benches. I too have one that I’ve inherited from my dad’s worktop (I replaced my worktop with his on the base of my bench – long story). Somewhere along the way my dad thought it was a good idea to remove the stop in the vice and I cannot figure out where to source a replacement. I’ve done some deep internet searches and nothing is turning up. Does anyone have any ideas on how to source a replacement vice stop for the Record (England) vise?
Cheers,
Aaron.

It would take luck on the order of winning the lottery to find an original.
There are lots of copies of the Records out there. All of the Asian made vises are copies. A part from one of those might fit.
I've seen many people chuck the wooden stop on their vises, and replace it with a wooden homemade version. They all prefer it over steel. You could make your own.
It wouldn't be very hard to fabricate a new stop. Locate or cut a piece of steel, brass or aluminum to fit the opening. Drill and tap a hole for the retaining screw, assemble and you are good to go.
