I can't recall what I used on my floor, I just bought what the floor supply guy was selling.
But one thing I will add is that whatever you use, thin it with a little water before applying, it will trowel on a lot easier.
Floor guys use filler that is different from what you might be accustomed to using on furniture. The floor stuff comes in quart or gallon containers, and is runnier than the furniture stuff. You apply it with a trowel, swishing it around to get into cracks and nail holes. Don't worry about excess -- it'll come off in your first sanding. Buy from a flooring supplier and you should get the right stuff.
