Remove router springs for table use?
I have decided to convert my PC 7529 plunge router into a dedicated table router. Am buying another router and do not expect to remove the PC from the table. Is it a good idea to remove the springs to make adjustments easier in the table? Or is there a better way? The table is the Veritas all metal table top.
Thanks for any suggestions.

If it will be dedicated to the table I'd take them out. You are fighting them when raising the bit and the guides sometimes bind depending on what type of lift mechanism you use (or don't use).
Thanks for your reply. Will remove the springs.
