Removing an Activated Sawstop Brake Cartridge
I managed to cause my SawStop brake cartridge to activate, as a result of carelessly allowing a steel square on the saw table to contact the blade. It took a half hour of arduous labor to remove the blade and cartridge, since the blade was so firmly embedded. I was able to free them after a lot of prying, worrying that I would damage the interior saw mechanisms in the process. They came free without further damage, but I am wondering if anyone has a better process to recommend.

I've tripped mine twice. First time similar to yours and it came off easy with blade and cartridge together. Second time I rotated the blade backwards out of the cartridge with vicegrips and a dead-blow mallet and they came off in 2 parts.
Thanks- I'll try that if this happens again.
