I’ve had 2 8 ft pine double doors w/30 glass panels p/door installed. My contractor’s helper stained the wood w 1 coat of liquid golden oak stain and added 1 coat of poly. The doors now look awful. The stains are botchy and there’s some bleeding. Some parts are super dark, others are super light.
I’m so frustrated that I want to have the entire
staining removed and start from scratch and do it myself.
Can you help in recommending a product or procedure on how to remove what’s on there now and how to proceed properly?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Any good stripper with a hi concentration of methyl chloride will work great. The oak needs a light sealer before staining so that it comes out very evenly with no blotching or streaking.
