What have you tried? Heat from a heat gun or a strong solvent such as lacquer thinner or Goo-gone should work.
Don't you hate that stuff? Automotive stores carry 3M general purpose adhesive remover # 08984. Removes adhesive, silicone, wax, grease, oil and tar. Every shop should have a can.
Beat it to fit / Paint it to match
Thanks for your comments. They reminded me that I had some stuff called Goof Off. With some effort, and steel wool, it worked - where acetone and lacquer thinner didn't. I love these forums.
Naphtha.
