While doing some minor fixup work, I was given an 18″ x 30″ piece of 3/8″ thick glass. I want to add it to a coffee table but it has a few scratches, nothing real deep, but I was wondering if anyone has removed scratches from glass, and how did you do it?
Anyone used one of the products that pop-up with a google search?

cerium oxide (White powder) Mix with water to make a 'slurry.'
Add to a small cotton felt buff wheel attached to an electric drill and polish away.
Use figure eight motions. Dip buff into solution often (Avoids heat)
