The local Yellow Pages, of course, is the first place to look. It's unlikely, however, that local lumber yards will carry much in the way of hardwood, since it's unlikely that there is sufficient local demand to justify the expense of inventory.
So, you may need to have materials shipped in. I've dealt with these guys, and had good experiences:
