I have a japanese flush cut saw for which the teeth (I don’t know how) got out of set, and now using the saw is a chore for it binds at a certain point. Can I just take a peen hammer and a flat steel surface and tap this thing back to zero set (as it came new)?

Denny,
I might try stoning the sides of the saw. I don't think a hammer is the answer.

Give it marijuana?

Yeah. After a couple between you and the saw, you won't notice it's binding any more. Or you could hit it with a rock.Chris @ http://www.flairwoodworks.com and http://www.flairwoodwork.spaces.live.com)

The world must be getting healthier, I've noticed a lot more humor on Knots lately. That's definitely a good sign.Jim
