I have a Makita 2030 jointer planer that has served me well for over 25 years. Does any one know where I can find replacement knives for the jointer?
Thanks,

Dear nearlaron,
You could try searching on eBay or on another web site devoted to old tools. You could also post your question on Knots, either in the area on power tools, the general discussion area, or both. One of the many Knots users may well know exactly where you should go for new knives.
Good luck,

David,Just last night I ordered a pair of knives from a company called ereplacement parts. From what I can tell they are the right part. The company appears to be a good source for a wide variety of replacement parts and prices seem reasonable. If you are interested, I'll let you know how it turns out.Neal
By all means, let me know if the knives are to you liking.

I just received the jointer knives from ereplacementparts.com. I paid $32 for a set of 2. They fit perfectly. I wasn't sure they were the correct part, as these are for the 3020N, but apparently the only difference is in the planer size. I definitely recommend this outfit for hard to find items.
Glad you got what you needed. Good to know about ereplacementparts.com
Best,David
