Replacement Parts for Contemporary Chair
I am not a wooodworker perse, but am in the process of refinishing, as best I can, a molded plywood chair and ottoman I recently inherited from a friend. I can’t identify the manufacturer, but it is similar in design to the famed Eames Longe Chair. Even though the laminate is pulling up in a few places and beyond my capacity to fix, the teak and mechanisms have cleaned up nicely and I can fix the rip in the leather upholstery but there are several parts which need to be replaced and I just can’t locate them online and don’t no where to begin to look elsewhere.
The feet, which are the first item, are nipple shaped, about an 1 1/4″ in diameter with a hole through the center for a screw to seat through and into the leg assembly, and have a metal beauty cap over them.
The second item is the rubber bushings which act as shocks in the reclining mechanism. They’re shaped kind of like a squat dumbell, with a larger end about 1/2 – 3/4″ round and about 3/8″ fat (now, they may have been larger as they look a wee bit squished at this point from years opf use)and the smaller end, which fits through a hole in the metal assembly (securing the rubber bumper in place) is about 1/4″ round.
Does anyone know where I can find replacement parts for this chair?

If it is a real Eames lounge chair, or if it is an accurate knock-off, you might be able to get repair parts from Herman Miller, which manufactures that chair today. Google with "herman miller furniture" to find their site.
Unfortunately, it's not a knock-off attempt. It's a chair similar in design but the manufacturer obviously wasn't trying to duplicate it verbatem. I'd thought about Herman Miller as a resource. Thanks for the recommendation.
