Replacement Rubber foot tips for Contractor Table Saw
The rubber foot tips on my contractortable saw legs need to be replaced. They are the leveling type feet. The metal is fine…just the rubber tips (bumpers?) are dried out and cracked. I can’t find any in hardware stores or HD.
Anybody know where I can get them?
Also, I’ve put the saw on a mobile base so I could just remove the old foot tips and put some rubber pads under the metal feet. Would this work or might there be a problem with vibration?
Thank You

I have some I removed from my router table legs that are capable of leveling. If I can find them, and take a picture. I believe they have a 1/2 inch standard thread bolt that extends thru the leg bottom with double nuts. Can you be a little more explicit on your needs?

Mine sounds similar. Thread bolt with 2 nuts to hold it at final length. Atteched to the bottom of the threaded bolt is 1 1/2inch circular disk. The disk fits into the rubber bumper. Similar to the adjustable leg on a clothes washer or the leveling foot for a cabinet.
The rubber is worn out.
JIMMIEM, You mention you live south of Boston, I don’t know if it is close to you, but you can try Manny’s hardware on Hill St. in Taunton, or Biss Lumber on Somerset Ave (RT. 138 South), also in Taunton. Hope this helps. garyowen
I just saw in a woodworking magazine someone made adjustable feet using a hockey puck. You said the metal is still good. Maybe drill out for the metal and cut the outside diameter to suite. The puck might be a little hard and smooth, maybe cross score the bottom for traction. Silver paint might help:)

Good idea on the hockey pucks. I had used a couple on the ends of one of those chinup bars that fits inside a door jamb ( shower curtain type bar where one tube screws into the other) and it worked great. Didn't even give them a thought for use on the table saw.
Thank you for your post.....problem solved. I just bought an HTC mobile base so the pucks should fit in the corners and sliding shouldn't be an issue.
