Hello
Picked up a nice SARGENT 718 Autoset plane recently off Ebay. The blade is decent, could make it better, but wondering does anyone know of a maker of replacements for Sargent planes? The newer metal is far superior.
Thanks
Mike

I'm not familiar with the geometry of the Sargent irons, but you might contact the folks at Lie Nielsen about whether their replacements for (old) Stanley and Record planes will fit. They are usually quite helpful.
