We have a huge TV cabinet which I would like to cut down for a flat panel TV. The cabinet was purchased for a different home, and it seriously overwhelms the room it is in. I envision using the front face and six inches of the side. Any recommendations to this novice on how to go about cutting it down?

Chainsaw!
Sorry, just kidding. By any chance could you provide a pic? Kinda difficult giving suggestions when ya can't see what you're working with.
