Thinking of getting a Sundstrom SR550/570 powered respirator (Primarily for turning). Then I came across this from Peke safety, it has 2 mask options and is about half the price of the Sundstrom. Anyone have experience with either of these?

We purchased this Sundstrom PAPR Respirator System from Ashley Harwood, wood turner extraordinaire. It is the SR-500 system. Check her website for details.

We purchased it for my wife for Covid protection in 202o. It kept her safe. I plan to use it for woodturning when I purchase a lathe. The battery lasts an entire shift 8 hrs+. The fan makes a noise about the same loudness as a fish tank aerator. Quiet enough to hear normal conversations.
Here is Ashley's YouTube channel. She has plenty of videos of the Sundstrom respirator in action.

Cheers,

P.S. I have no affiliation with Sundstrom or Ashley other than this purchase.
