I am looking for someone who can restore some planes that got wet and have now rusted. You may contact me at [email protected]
Thank you,
Herb

Can you post some pictures?
Herb:
I've restored several old Stanleys, including removing rust and rejappaning. While it can take a lot of time, it isn't that hard to do. Can you list what you have and post some pictures so we can see what shape the planes are in?

Restore Them?
Not sure how far away you are from my house. I have been doing hand plane restores for over two years now. How far gone are they? Can you buy a can of evaporust where you are at? Give the metal a good soaking under the surface. Have a can of WD40 handy when they come back out, as the metal will flash-rust when it hits the air.
