I just upgraded my dust collector to a 2 HP running on 220v. Wondering if I can just replace the female and male plug on my Long Ranger remote to turn it into a 220?
Any thoughts???
Thanks and keep on making sawdust.

Most likely, the only thing you could use is the remote. I wouldn't change a 110v model.
They make a 220v model. I've great luck with my 220v. system.

Use your existing 110 remote to turn on a 110 volt relay. Wire the 220 to the relay contacts and plug your DC into that. Needs to be in a metal box of some sort.
A 110 switch typically has one set of contacts to open and close the one hot. A 220 switch has two sets of contacts, to open and close both hots. That is, you can't safely use a 110 switch to control 220.
