Does anyone know of an adapter you can run in an electric hand drill which will allow you to drill in tighter spaces than you can because of the length of the drillbit.drill?
This is needed to drill in the inside gunwale of a dory.
THanks,
Hans

Milwaukee makes an Offset Drive Adapter, Model 48-32-2100, Internet/Catalog 169380 Store SKU # 105 269 $32.49. It is available at Home Depot.
I have had one for years called the Skew Driver and it works great for getting into tight spaces. You can use a hand held adapter or it can be chucked into your battery powered drill. The price is not bad if you only have a few screws to drive. If you have a bunch, it might be better to buy a battery powered offset drill. I hope this helps.
Milwaukee makes an angle adapter that is very close quarter and can be found at most electrical supply stores. See also page 2262 in http://www.mcmaster.com
