I have an arbor project that requires installing the lattice onto the posts with a mere six inches wide to drive a 3″ screw. So I have 3″ or less to start the screw in a parallel position. I have looked at the bosch 12v but can’t find any available and thought the new ridgid looked good until I read the reviews. I also ran across the millscraft d90 but bad reviews. I tried to convert the star screw driver bit into my screwdriver socket to use my ratchet with no luck. Are there any good right angle drive drills? I prefer bosch since I own other bosch 12v tools.

Right angle drills
If you're not going to use a right angle drill much, or only need it for this one project, there are adapters made that turn a regular drill into a right angle one. It's just a 90 degree gearbox with a chuck on one end to hold the bit and a shaft on the other that you chuck into your regular drill. I think they sell for 20-30 bucks at online tool stores..
A right angle drill adapter won't replace or be as heavy duty as one built for that purpose. But for just a few light jobs it should work fine..
