Does anyone have a Rigid Jointer? If so, what is your opinion? Thanks! Dino |

I've had one for about a month now and I really like it. Bear in mind that I'm a novice and I've had only limited exposure to other jointers, but I do like it very much.

Thanks for the response, I too am a novice & Have a Rigid Table Saw That I'm very happy with.

I've been very happy with the Ridgid brand. Since I have very little space I purchased the Ridgid portable table saw and the planer. I've had great luck so far with all three.

I've used mine for about four years, and it works fine. I've pushed several hundred BF of lumber through it. The main things that I can suggest are to make sure you maintain it regularly, make sure the knives are kept sharp, wax the bed, and clean off any oil that gets on the bed or blades. Good Luck.
