I have a two-year-old 14″ Delta band saw and after reading Dukinske’s book, realized that the wheels were not coplanar. There was a 3/8″ offset! After some time of fretting and observation, I noticed a 1/32″ gap on one side of the riser block. Sure enough, one of the registration pegs was too long. After filing it down, the wheel misalignment was reduced to 3/16″ which can be corrected with a washer. Thought this might be helpful to someone out there.

No big deal, but in case anyone's reading this thread and wants to find the referenced book, it's "Band Saw Handbook" by Mark Duginske (correcting spelling). Another excellent work is "The Bandsaw Book" by Lonnie Bird.
