Has anybody used Rockler’s sketch list? I just pulled up the 14 day trial use, and it looked pretty good until I tried to start using it. The manual was a joke, and I couldn’t even figure out how to change the thickness of the wood nor the material type. If anybody has an idea how to do this, I would sure appreciate any help. It looked easier than learning sketchup, but looks are deceiving.

Islandman,
Have you ever tried Google Sketch up? It's very user friendly. It's free and there are a lot of sources for learning how to use.

hi, thanks for the reply. i've tried google sketchup, but i seem to be having a difficult time getting axis and field of plane in perspective. i tried to find a course somewhere here in florida but with no success.
I'll help you with SketchUp if you want. I woiuld imagine we could do a "live" demo and get you well on your way. Send me an e-mail and we'll set up a time.
