I have acquired a model 37-315, Rockwell jointer (8″). I’ve already been on line, filled out the order form to get an owner’s manual and parts list. This is a fairly modern unit with the blue “Rockwell” name tag.
I looking for feedback about the overall quality of this model so I can gauge how much energy and $$ to put into restoration. Will post on Breaktime also.
Thanks much for any opinions!

Bought mine new in summer of 1973 and it has been in intermittent use ever since ( builder/ construction manager with wood working as a hobby). Blades have been replaced twice in that period due to having sharpened them all up. Now about ready for a fourth set. Has been reliable for me. Kept it on HTC "wheels this last 18 years as shop needed space from time to time. Still joints accurately. I think you've found a "keeper".
Can't comment on the jointer, per se; but I ran a Rockwell Unisaw for 25 years, and I would say its general quality was higher/better than the modern versions, now labeled Delta.
You did not say what kind of shape the jointer is in, but I would guess it would justify a reasonalbe amount of effort and $$$. Gezuar.....
