Have had this saw 30 years and am second owner, never any problems. Last aligned about 8 years ago. Noticed Micro Jig splitter binding about month ago. Always got good cuts with no problems up until then. Because of illness haven’t used until yesterday. When tried to put my Dubby Cut-off on saw, the cut-off would bind against blade. After checking more closely, see the blade on the outfeed side appears to have shifted to the left. I can see this clearly by observing the blade alignment with the kerf in the zero clearance insert. This saw equipped with Besiemeyer fence with table extension.
Fellow WW club members think the trunions have shifted. Saw has been in this exact same spot for at least 8 years. I am puzzled as how either the trunions or the saw table top could have shifted. I know of no force exerted on either.
Please let me have your thoughts, suggestions and remedies on what you think happened. Where and how should I start to look for the cause? Have you experienced such a misalignment happening? What did you find to be the cause? I am mystified.

The trunion is fixed in the base. There are four bolts which hold the top on, which can be loosened to adjust the alignment. Maybe someone has bumped the top from one side, and moved it a little.
I am sure that you can find instructions for aligning the top with a quick search.
Could be the arbor pivot is loose and allowed the arbor assembley to slide over a bit. Less chance of trunnions shifting or table shifting.
Do you have teenage drivers?
In my home this is usually the cause of things being bashed, dented, dinged, etc.
And it doesn't seem to matter where the damage is, and there is no reason to ask about it, they will have no idea what happened.
Check your cars for Unisaw paint imbedded in the grill or fender of your cars.
Seriously, your table top has probably come loose or been bumped out of line. Just loosen the screws (which is a pain!) and realign it.

I had a similar problem with my 30 year old Sears TS. I was also getting vibration when cutting and the blade shifting. The problem turned out to be the arbor bearings had loosened in the casting causing a shift. I fixed it with some 0.001" shim stock and lock-tight. Has held up for 3+ years.

My thanks to all of you. You won't believe what happened. Took blade off.tried checking every bolt, nut and screw. Looked for loose and/or cracked parts. Could find none. Raised and lowered blade shaft about 4 times while looking. After could find nothing amiss, put blade back on, inserted zero clearance. Guess what! Everything lined up perfectly. Cut-off sits and rides like it should without binding against blade. Splitter no longer binds. I am really mystified now. As you Yanks would say, "Go figure". Thanks again people.

That sounds like you had something under your blade arbor washers.
