Has anyone used/owned a Rojek or Laguna Planer/Jointer combo? I am looking for a solid planer/jointer combo and these seem to good choices. Does anyone have a preference to one or the other? If I were to look for a used machine, where are a few good sites? I’ve looked at the usuals and can’t seem to find much. Any feedback would be appreciated!
Happy Holidays!

I currently own a jointer/planer from Andreou Machinery, which is almost a clone of the Laguna 12" model. Jointer and planer functions just like their solo counterparts but the 12" jointer sure is nice. The 3 horse motor runs through hardwoods like a bulldozer. The only drawback I have found in this format of machine is the amount of cranks needed to go back from the planer mode to the jointer mode. You have to crank the planer bed down far enough to clear the dust hood. This is not that big of a deal for me, since I do not have a professional shop; you just have to plan your project well to insure you have enough planed stock to get the job done. Some of the high end machines have motorized bed height adjusters, but you are getting into the high-dollar world here(Felder, Knapp, etc.)
I had considered the 12" Laguna J/P machine, before finding the site for this company. It also came with a mortiser. My machine has features very similar to the Rojek, which makes me think it is made by the same company.
Overall, I think you will like this machine. Lots of machine for the money.
Good luck and watch those fingers.
Take a look at the Mini Max, very nice machine.
