Hi All:
I just bought a new RYOBI RE180PL1 plunge router and I am looking to purchase a plate for this router for my router table. I prefer a plate with a lift mechanisim.
Any ideas? The Ryobi web site is totally useless.
I saw a nice Plungelift Router Lift by Woodpeckers but they don’t list any Ryobi models as being compatable with there products.

Seeing as this is your first posting, your forgiven. Should have done your homework before the purchase of the Ryobi. Off hand I don't know of a lift that will fit the RE180PL. Personally I would try to return the Ryobi, Then do a little research on the type of raiser system I like and then get the best router that would fit it. My choice would be a JessEm Mast-R-Lift and a PorterCable 7518 3 1/4 HP.

Nappy, two weeks of serious work and the pl180 will be toast so put it in the box, drive to home dopey, give it back, get your money and get a PC, triton, makita, bosch or Milwaukee 3+hp. online or from a tool dealer. There are no cheap ways to power a router table effectively. Pat
edit-by the way most of the new larger routers can be adjusted through the table on the bottom of the router thus avoiding the cost of the raiser--spend more for a better router- you will probably buy only one table set up. pfh
