Hi,
I would like to get an rough estimate of what these machines might be worth assuming they are in good working order. I am thinking of purchasing some. See attached photos.
Boice and crane 8″ jointer
Cantek scoring saw 5hp

You should not pay much for that jointer, because the outfeed table will not adjust.
If the TS is 3 ph. think half of what you would pay for single.
I have the 6" version of that jointer with a direct drive motor. With its long bed and four knife cutter head it is a very smooth machine. Mine was like new and I paid $500.00 for it, and thought it was great deal. Don't worry about the non-adjustabe outfeed table, this machine stays in tune better than any I own. I am a firm believer in used iron, none of my large equipment was purchaced new. BTW, did you go by the infeed size or the outfeed, it looks like a 6" in the picture.
He said it was 8" but may be stretching it a bit. This other photo makes it look like 8 inches to me with the width of a spread hand being around 9". The surface looks good in the photo. I Have not seen this machine in person yet as it is a 3 hour drive.
Cheers

Better view, that looks like eight inches. If the price is right I'd go for it, like I said I love mine. These are not cast iron but fabricated steel, which I think is better.
Do not buy that jointer! give me the address and i will have a talk with the owner and convince them of their errors and haul it away for free
