I am just starting in woodworking and want to build a small round table for a corner of my shop. I want to make it a four legged table. (no pedestal) Does anyone have a design for the apron and legs? I want the legs splayed for stability. How the legs are joined to the apron and the leg design are what I have trouble picturing.

GG,
You might find this interesting...

Thanks, I had seen that. I intend to use splayed legs for stability.
Gary Rogowski.. I think he is 'cool'... Old 1950's word!
Besides he wears shirts I like!splayed legs for stability.. Go for what YOU like but not necessary in most cases. I would think only needed for a very light weight table and then I think it would not look 'right'. Just me with another dumb comment. Yes. I have opinions I wish to share!
GG,
I'm not sure you'll get more stability with splayed legs on a round table this size(these proportions)....unless you intend to have the legs go beyond the circumference of the top which could pose a bit of a hazard in the shop.
At any rate, modifying the stretchers for splaying is a lot easier than trying to modify an apron seems to me.
