I am looking to build a number of round tables that have a MDF veneered center and a 1.5″ x 1.5″ solid edge. the Veneer and edge must be flush, so the edge looks like a Band around the veneer center. I am trying to identify the process I need to use to piece together the edge and apply it to the veneered panel. I have seen great examples but for the life of me I can not figure out how they did it… thanks for the help

How about a lamination? Could be done in situe with a band clamp and trimmed to the top after the glue cures.
