Goodmorning,
I own a palm router that I bought from UK. It has two collets, 6 and 8 mm. The question is: if I buy a router bit that has a 1/4″ shank (6.35 mm), will I be able to use it in my router?
Thanks Enrico

Use only bits designed for a spacific collet.
You may be able to buy a collet for 1/4" specifically for your router.
Further there are adapter bushings to adapt and 8mm to 1/4" . This option is less favourable, I would use it only for light jobs.

You can easily buy a 1/4"
You can easily buy a 1/4" collet from the UK if you can't find one over there.. Try Trend-UK or Axminster.
