I have a “Router Workshop” router table that I mount on the end of my Ryobi B3100. I saw plans somewhere for a fence with a sliding opening and dust collection. It had a unique way of holding the fence to the table top without drilling holes or T-tracks. It appeared to use a wooden clamping system of some sort.
Anyone have plans, pictures, ideas for this style of fence?

I'm not sure exactly what you are refering to, but my Bench Dog fence doesn't use slots or holes. It's held in position by simple clamps that hold it to the top. My high school science eludes me, but I believe these clamps are third class levers (?) -- i.e., the fulcrum is at one end, a screw to tighten them is in the middle and the open end grasps the table top.
There. That's clear as mud.

Thanks, Mike. I'll take a look at the Bench dog.
If you made the router workshop table, why not just use his fence. It was very simple two c clamps and a piece of plastic ripped strait. I loved watching that show till they took it off the local PBS station. I catch it ocasionally on the internet. I use the Incra LS, and C-clamp it to my top. I can take it off very easily if I want to. Good luck.
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it.
And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
bones, this is the way my table is mounted. I need a full-function fence to go along the long dimension of the table.
Here is a link to my table with the LS. Its very accurate and I can remove it at will. I got mine used here. You might check out E-bay, they have used ones from time to time. Routman has good plans for a fence. Good luck on the hunt.

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Will not insult your table top, lots of application.
Look for plans in FWW 144.
Nice Fence but, I need one that within my woodworking ability. And a whole lot simpler.
