For a specific project, I need to make a router jig for making a convex surface on a 2″ wide board several feet long. I can cut the underside concave on the table saw. An end view of the board would resemble a comma. Any suggestions?

Any reason you don't use a hand plane to shape and sand to smooth?
It's a whole lot simpler and cheaper, especially for one board.
Good suggestion! Thanks.
You could make a series of rip cuts stepping up the angles to rough out the shape....
45 degree, 22 degree, 12 degree.... like you were making a crown moulding from scratch.
then proceed to the plane and sandpaper for the perfect curve.
personally- I don't have the skill to do the entire job with a plane but if you give me the basic shape I can usually finesse it till I'm happy-
I bet there are other good ideas out there
Even better. Thanks! Your suggestion will save time in hand planning.
