I’m making a shaker candle stand with a tripod base. I want to round over both sides of the tops of the legs (3/4 thick) with a 3/8 round over bit, but can’t figure out how to do the second side, because the bearing has nothing to ride on after I do the first side. How would you good folks do it?

Use a router table with a pair of pegs to "ride" against. Or drop to 5/16" rad round over bit.
Thanks, Nigel, for the fast reply. These legs are a serpentine shape with both convex and concave curves. Is there a way of doing that with pegs on the router table with one setup ?
I was thinking about the table top. For the legs use the 5/16 bit or maybe 1/4" with some sanding added.
Jake..
can't say I've tried this, but given the need to, I'd make a template to ride against the bearing. Secure it with double sided tape or similar.Mike Wallace
Stay safe....Have fun
Thanks gents

Wouldn't trust the router in this case. I would take it down with a spoke-shave and finish with a scraper and sand-paper.
Good Luck with it...

Jake,
I did mine by hand. Couldn't see taking a chance after all the work that went into getting them to this point. With other things, I make the fense on my router table flush with the bearing...so at the end of the stock the bit can't slip around the corner. I don't think this would work for you...your stock is curved...
