Because I do not have much time to build a router tabletop, I had recently purchased one from Rockler. Thinking I would attach somehow to my Delta Unisaw, I was thinking that it might be better to have separate. Has anyone attached to their Unisaw (I have a 50″ Table with Fence)? Any Suggestions? Or Does anyone know of plans for a simple stand? Thanks

I use a bench dog router table on my Unisaw and absolutely love it. I have had three separate router tables on table saws--a homemade one (litterally a chunk of plywood bolted into the rails); a Bosch table (a simple piece of stamped steel bolted into the rails; and my current Bench Dog.
The Bench Dog replaces the steel extension table.
If you want to cobble the Rockler onto the table, there should be some threaded holes for bolts in those rails. You will need to cut the table down to size to fit in that exact area, and add some legs, frames or whatever to both hold the table and accept the horizontal bolts into the rails.
There are lots of router table plans and kits out there for purchase or in magazines, some quite nice with storage space and others very plain. My shop is a mess, so plain is better for me. Litterally, all you need is about 6-8 2x4's to lift and support that Rocker Table. Bolt on a 3 hp PC Router, and away you go!

I cut a hole in my table extension on my 50" Unisaw, and let in a 3/8" thick alum plate. Router is mounted to the plate. I posted a pix of it some time ago, which FG helped me with. With the router in the saw extension, I use my TS fence with the router table, and it works well for me.
