Router Table fence for Hitachi TR12
Hi,
I just got my router and tabletop mounted into the right side of my contractors tablesaw and now want to make/purchase a router fence. The router is a Hitachi TR12 3 HP Plunge router. I want to be able to use it to edge joint small pieces for jewelry boxes primarily, as well as boards for raised panels. I’m leaning towards a design that incorporates a two piece fence system.
I also want to be able to use the fence for other operations such as molding, panek raising, etc. Does anyone have plans for a router fence that will suffice for my needs?

Caution: If I remember correctly, that router is a single speed - It is to fast for a traditional raised panel bit.
Hi Burts,
Ooooopppss! You're absolutely right. Guess I'll have to gorgo panel raising unless I can slow that bad boy down. I know there are lots of variable speed switches that can be used, but am not sure of their reliability/quality. Buying a new variable speed router is out of the question at this time, unemployed............
Thanks for the input,

That's what I did. Don't know what brand, but it works good. Read an article in I think in FW that a 3 1/4 inch raised panel bit, the bad boy is up to 225 mph. I know it sounds like prop airplane taking off. Don't even want to think what would happen if the bit came apart.
Take care JJBX
Edit, The router is a real work horse. Bought mine in 1985 I think used & abused still going strong
