Finally built a decent router table. been using one of these tiny (@16″wide) black and decker fellas for a long time, and then i got the bright idea to put a router in my jet tablesaw extension table. that would have been fine probably but in my teenie little brain i somehow came to the conclusion that 1/4″ plexi would support my Hitachi M12V. serious flex made everything turn out terrible. i have a a set of rail, stile, and raised panel bits (jesada) that have never built a door, they are prolly 4 years old. well anyways I built the table and fence that AWW has had the plans in their mag for and it turned out great. hated their cabinet though so i built that a lot different. Used the woodpeckers plate its got nice insrts. used it a little tonight and its great. sorry for sounding so giddy, but i am……

I know the feeling. I just completed - well, almost- my router cabinet with woodpecker lift and PC 3.25 hp router. I'm waiting for wife to finish a stained glass router to use as a a panel insert for the router/lift access door in the front. Congratulations on finishing your project.
