Router Table Plate for Triton 2.25
For those lucky enough to have your Triton (mine is on back order) I wonder if you have suggestions for a Router Table Plate for the Triton 2.25 hp router. Does anyone make one pre-drilled for the Triton lift mechanism?
Thanks,

Woodhaven will drill their plates for the Triton, (or just about any other router), for around $20.
Their plates are as good as any I have seen.
Thanks. I'll check it out.
Ummmm, IIRC, it bolted directly to Bench Dog plate, but I did have to drill a hole to insert the crank.
I got my plate from hartville and drilled it myself. It isnt real a problem. You also have to drill the hole for the above table adjusting rod.

You could go with the Veritas router table system. I have the 3.25HP Triton and it is a great combination. They have just the router plate insert or the entire table.

Scott,
I just completed the task you asked about a couple of weeks ago. The Jessem Mast-r-Plate has threaded holes that line up with the Triton holes after you take off the plastic base plate, but you still have to drill the hole for the above table crank. One word of advice about your setup. I discovered that the switch locks out the crank raising mechanisms and spindle lock. I hooked up a remote Rockler router switch and just turned on my Triton router switch. It will not allow you to raise the spindle all the way up to engage the lock to change bits. Minor inconvenience, but now I know my router is not broken.

Scott,
Rockler has several router plates that fit (pre-drilled)specific routers. I doubt they have one for the Triton 2.5 however, you can get a blank and drill it out. The plates are metal and reasonable in price.
