I built a router table( Norms). When I tried to cut the dados in the top the formica chipped really bad. I used a forrest dado blade in table saw. Now I gotta redu. How do I cut the dados and what is the best way. Router??? Only want to do this one more time. LOL

Router table top
Did you put tape down before you cut?
Tape helps and if using the table saw try tape plus a shallow scoring cut first, say 1/16", then move dado blade to desired depth and make the final pass. If using the router try a carbide down spiral bit, tape and shallow first pass.
Test the techniques on your ruined work piece before committing to either method on your new work piece.
