Bought some anti fatigue mats from the orange box. Problem is they have a bigtime, and I mean bigtime rubber smell. Any ideas on how to make this smell go away?
You would think with the economy and two kids in college I’d have better things to worry about, but what the heck huh? Jimmy

You will find the same problem with rubber router and sanding mats. Time is the only answer I can give.

If you want to try a different option, you could look for the pack of squares that fit together like a jig-saw puzzle. I used to have my entire floor covered with those, they are very comfortable. Each square comes with removeable edges so you can configure them however you want and then put an edge on the piece.
This is the time of year they show up at good prices at places like Costco (membership warehouse chain).
Thanks...already have a few sq ft of these. Other ones are nice under foot, but sure kill the nose. We'll see what a few weeks out on the shed roof will do....Jimmy
They will start to photodegrade if you expose them to long to UV light (the sun).
Your better off leaving them in a covered porch to air off.
Just my 2 cents.

nah..the smells bad enough to even repel sunlight...
