jabe , Roo glue and a few others are formulated especially for Melamines and some other coated surfaces like a lacquered surface . If the MDF is unfinished I would use regular wood glue tite bond er whatever .

Dusty, Do you know if this glue is some sort of epoxy or man made formulation Where is it sold?

jabe , Roo is a manmade product and when it dries the squeeze out stays softish . Are you using MDF or Melamine ?
Any cabinet hardware supplier and some big box stores may have it there are other brand names of similar glues.
