anyone know anything or had any experience with the ryobi 10″ miter saw? I can pick up a new one for $97 or a delta for $99. Any advice suggestions?

I personally think Ryobi is as cheap as you can get. I'm not a big fan of Delta either but I'd pick it over the Ryobi.
*Spend 100.00 and get a used RAS until you can afford a Bosch. May sound silly but I would be willing to bet the RAS would out last and out perform the ryobi and the Delta. I've been given two RAS's in the last year and I just gave away one last night. Ask your buddies, I'll bet someone has one they havent used and are willing to part with.. Heck even ole Norm still has one.
*What do you intend to use it for? If you plan to use it for picture frames and fine work where alignment and ease of adjustment are important, you should consider a $200 range or up saw. I bought the Ridgid 10" and have been very happy with it. If you will just be using it as a chop saw, then these would probably do the trick. Just get a good blade.Jon
*Jim I think the Ryobi is as low on the totem pole as you can get, I'm not a big fan of delta either but I would buy it before I would the ryobi.
