I thought that the Peoples Republic of Berserkely had a law against using the letters "N", "R", and "A" in that order - lol.

I'll be living in Oroville within the next few months. I have to finish/sell the house in Washington first. Wife and kids are already there. I'm always looking for new sources...

I'm in Alameda, work in my garage and ruin lots of lumber at Laney college.
Troy
hey Troy,
I spent two years at Laney! Is Keith still teaching there? I have fond memories of that shop.
Keith is teaching 1 night class a week, the editor of Woodwork magazine teaches on thurs night, is very helpful with hand tools. The guy who runs the department now is into CNC machines and partical board.
Sunnyvale for me...
Hi Ken,
Would love to visit woodworking shops and fellow woodworkers around my area, makes this hobby a lot more fun!
I live in San Mateo and you're in Berkeley, nice.
Have you taken any classes at the Woodworking Academy? Nice guys, a bit expensive.
Let me know if you're accepting guests to your shop or just want to chat wood.
Gary
Hey Ken:
I'm in Oakland. I've taken some classes at Woodworking Academy and agree about the cost. I also think he's more power tools/production shop focused than I want. I took the hand tools workshop there with Scott Wynn(?). Great class.
Hi Bakesale,Please fill-in your profile so we have some data on you.Cheers, Gary
East of you in Concord.
Hey,
I grew up in Oakland, but now I live in Brentwood. Good to know I am not alone in this area.
