Salt Lake City or Seattle tool auction?
Last night I was visiting with a fellow woodworker and he told me about a huge used tool auction held in Salt Lake City a couple times a year. Does anyone know about this or a similar one in Seattle? (I’m about 500 miles from each, but that’s just a hop, skip and jump if you’re from Montana!
Thanks for any info you might have!

I live just 9 miles from Seattle, and don't know about a major yearly tool auction. There is a big flea-market/tool swap sort of thing, each spring I think, which I've never been to. If you Google for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer or Times and watch the classifieds, you might find when it comes around. I'll try to remember to post at Knots when I see the ad.

Many thanks FG. I've been to the Seattle Garden Show with my wife, so maybe she'd be willing to go to a swap meet! <grin>Alan & Lynette Mikkelsen, Mountain View Farm, est. 1934, Gardens & Fine Woodworking, St. Ignatius, MT
Oh, Alan, she definitely owes you one! That garden show is unbelievable -- it takes me two days to recuperate from spending one afternoon there!
I read the tool classifieds every Sunday, so I'm sure I'll see the ad when it comes up. forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)
