Hello: I have a P.C. 7334 sander, can this be used with the proper pads as a polisher to ”finish the finish” or do I have to buy another tool? If not what kind/brand of polisher is recommended? There also seems to be many kinds of ”bonnets” and pads out there, what works best for this purpose? I guess one needs separate pads for different grades of compounds like pumice and rottenstone, no? I don’t have enough elbow grease to do this kind of task by hand so a machine would be useful if it is as demanding as it sounds.
Thanks all, KDM

I have the PC 7335 and use it with a lambs wool bonnet. The kind with a draw string. I cut a piece of foam 1" thick to go on the pad. It's variable speed which is nice. I use light pressure so as not to prevent it from turning.

I found a 1.5" thick pad with a velcro back at Lowes by B&D a couple of years ago. The bonnets are there too. Works great.

Not often but sometimes I use my car buffer with a different 'wool'.. (Different as in no car polish on it)
Guess I'm going to be the odd one. I bought pads to fit my 6" Bosch RO and didn't accomplish much - sander just didn't have enough power. Bought a Makita buffer recommended by the neighborhood Carstar finisher and found it was able to rub out extremely well. Used compounds I purchased at http://www.homesteadfinishing.com
