   WillGeorge,

                     It is a beautiful wood, and hard as you've said. I put a dining room floor in our home a couple of years ago using 3/4 unfinished T&G.  In laid it about 16" in from the edges with strips of wenge, goncalo alves, and quilted maple in a repeat pattern.  The woods really accent the beauty of the santos mahogany.  Finished it with Waterlox sealer and semigloss.

   It is beautiful, isn't it.  All the builders of high end homes around my neck of the woods are putting Santos Mahogany floors in.  Really beautiful stuff.  In fact, my wife wants it in our house when we remodel.

   Pictures! Geeee.. Just raw wood. Not surfaced or finished...
   Sorry for the bad color but I NEED to get some good lighting.. Just a quick flash. Most of the wood I used had more grain color and this is what I had left over... I really liked the pink and black in the finish.. The project (which is at the new owner) was finished with wiping varnish. Sure hope the color stays!

            I have a camera and even some pics of my work.  Don't have a digital one and don't know how to attach something to get it to a webste.  Computer ignant.

   Computer ignant! Dang.. I have been workin' with Putersw for Years.... I get sort of dumb in a week or two!
