Building a walnut table with M&T leg and apron. I am in a position where one of the tenons will consist of a good bit of sapwood. Not rotting or anything, just sapwood. Will this compromise the strength of the joint? Any advice here would be great! Thanks!

Yes, walnut sapwood is a bit softer than the heartwood, but I doubt that the difference would be meaningful unless the tenons were marginally sized to begin.
