My old Sargent 306 block plane suffered a fall, and the quick-release lever on the cap broke off. I’m wondering if a lever cap from an old Stanley 9-1/2 would be interchangeable with this one? The two planes look very much alike. Hard to find Sargetnt parts, easy to find the Stanleys…
