AND, there's no eraser on his pencils!
Jazz,
Now if you can just find a savant with cut list skills.....Rome would be built in a day.
Absolutely unbelievable!

Absolutely unbelievable!! There are depths to the human mind I doubt we will ever understand.

Amazing is an understatement! Our brains seem to be largely untapped, and the possibilities to do things unimaginable if we could just open the door.
We wouldn't need cutlist plus either.
JAZ,My daughter has similar characteristics
Everyone she has met and will meet gets a third degree where she asks for the person's birth date, marriage status, any children, their birth dates etc etc
She has a remarkable memory and describes what friends and acquaintances wore at a bygone party/wedding/or family gathering going back to when she was five years old. At the drop of a hat, when asked, she'll describe exactly what the person wore at a wedding twenty years ago.
Quite a few times when she attended school, a few of her teachers would call her to ask for a classmate's birthday. Some family friends or
relatives (Usually the womenfolk)ask which dress/shoes she wore at a gathering two years ago so as not to be thought as having a minimal wardrobe.
I wouldn't be surprised if along with her inquisitions, she asks, "Boxers or briefs? Or, " Innie or outtie?" Steinmetz.
Hi Steinmetz,
Remarkable!
Does she have other gifts like perfect pitch, unusual color perception, the ability to instantly calculate the day of the week that corresponds with a specific date, etc.?
My brother is extraordinarily intelligent (IQ approaching 200), and decidedly quirky. He is able to read incredibly quickly, and his ability to recall facts is amazing, but his mechanical and other "practical" skills are negligible.
Aren't God's works amazing!

Jaz, Peggy Will sit down and complete a giant sized jigsaw puzzle in one evening and repack it in asembled blocks She recently began using a bus to take her to her job After a few trips, she arrived at home, took a pencil and paper and wrote : "THESE SEATS ARE FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUALS" and presented it to her mom and asked for an explanation. She has a remarkable vocabulary and frequently comes up with words she had heard or overheard and used them in the correct context. I had to laugh when one hot day she returned from summer camp, she remarked, "I was sweating boulevards"She has total recall and can recite all the parks, schools, vacations and weddings she had attended and names all her many teachers over the years she had known. Shes 42 now and is a joy to anyone who shows the least bit of interest in her. Occasionally remarking to total strangers things like , "Blue dress, I love it" Or,are you married? /children?/husband's name? /his eve color? Thanks Jazz for your interest Ed from Connecticut Tell me more about your son ED
