It depends ! How many electrical outlets you've got in your house...not shop, but house. One more saw than electrical outlets is okay (for backup), after that seek help....lol
I know what your saying. Seems like anytime I have a problem with a tool and my dealer takes it back, replaces it, fixes it, upgrades me or whatever, I feel obligated to by something new. My DeWalt driver drill just had a chuck blow out. It was still under warrant so they fixed it. While I was there I bought a new Porter Cable because, well just because.
Lets see I think that makes about six or seven that I have now. I've got three in the shop and three on the truck so with the PC that will make seven. Dang now there is another reason to go buy just one more. I refuse to stress over whether the PC goes in the truck or the shop so I'm just going to go get another one. Humm a 24volt Makita Hammer Drill sounds pretty nice.
BG & No One: Thanks for your replys, see it isnt just me,we need plenty of tools<G>..and they all have a purpose,Right??

Is it creating problems? Are you eating? Are the bills getting paid? If everything is fine, the outlet standard seems to be a fair one to me.

When I had 8 cordless drills, I finally broke down and regrouped. I now have 4. Skill saws are about the same, different sizes, different uses. Hang on to the ones you can identify uses for, save one for back-up, then trade out the rest for tools you don't have! Later--
I like to keep a couple of CS around the house. When my 17 year old daughter comes back from her date, I like to power up the CS and rip some scrap. They may be more intimidating than a shot gun, of course, they are only as effective as the length of the chord. May have to invest on battery packs.
